Low-cost carrier Vietjet has ended its 63-day journey travelling across the country to spread patriotism to the younger generations, in company with the Viet Nam Youth Federation.
During the "I love my Fatherland” campaign since October 6, Vietjet's youth delegates accompanied 1,000 prominent young people around the country in 10 key stops of the campaign, including the country’s southern end of Ca Mau and northern end of Lung Cu as well as the central province of Nghe An.
They have taken part in all activities under the campaign to inspire innovation and pioneering among Vietnamese youth towards the cause of development of the Fatherland.
At the same time, the delegates have motivated the pride of cultural and historical values as well as enhanced patriotism among young people.
During the campaign, Vietjet deployed an airplane painted with the campaign’s icon to fly the campaign members to the key stops. The airplane was helpful in spreading patriotism to young Vietnamese people living abroad thanks to its commercial flights in the broad Vietjet flight network in Asia.
Vietjet's Youth Federation’s Chairman Duong Hoai Nam said the campaign ‘I love my Fatherland’ 2019 has ended but he believes that the philosophy conveyed by meaningful activities carried out during the campaign will accompany the youth every day in their daily routines.
"Vietjet will remain an active company in the spreading and highlighting of patriotism in each flight across the country and around Asia," he said.
Vietjet is well on track to reach the milestone of 100 million total passengers in December. Last month, this new-age carrier was named as the best super low-cost airline in the world. The same month, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation recognised Vietjet as the best low-cost carrier in the Asia-Pacific region. VNS
