Samsung promotes digitalisation at 4.0 industry careeer workshop

Traditional occupations are no longer remaining "traditional" and have begun moving forward to digitalisation, according to speakers at a recent 4.0 industry career workshop in HCM City.

Organised by Samsung Vietnam, the workshop attracted hundreds of young people from HCM City.

At the workshop, participants said that the moving forward to digitalisation was mostly occurring in creative jobs such as filmmaking, singing, music, acting, and MCing.

With respect to generation Z, mastery in photography, video editing, cinematography, graphic, and design skills are as essential as mastery in multiple languages.

Famous people including fashionista Chau Bui, creative director Denis Dng and food stylist Meo Thuy Duong shared their experiences on how to develop a career in the 4.0 industry.

These social influencers use digital technology and have been successful because of their ability to optimise digital intelligence and global intelligence.

Reflecting market demand and based on "Generation Z's breakthrough attitude and innovation with technology ", the workshop discussed social purpose strategies hyperfocused on targeting teenagers and younger audiences.

Samsung said it had never stopped developing, inventing and redefining social standards. New products over the years are the solid evidence of Samsung's journey "DoWhatYouCant", whose intention is to improve consumers' social engagement. — VNS
