Vietjet signs co-operation deal with Aviation New Zealand

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietjet and Aviation New Zealand signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Ha Noi on November 15, allowing both sides to evaluate and exploit mutually beneficial

Both parties will now seek collaboration in services and initiatives related to safety, security and airworthiness. Aviation New Zealand will also provide Vietjet with training, air navigation, equipment supplies and business systems, as well as consultancy and advisory services over the next five years.

"Aviation has been one of the priorities for collaboration between New Zealand and Viet Nam and will be further strengthened in the coming years. I am delighted with the MoU signed today between Aviation New Zealand and Vietjet, which will facilitate New Zealand experts and engineers to exchange information, provide technical and managerial assistance and offer training programmes, such as for flight crew, engineering and air navigation, to Vietjet. I hope the collaboration will furtherboost the airline's growth across the international market," John Nicholson, general manager of Aviation New Zealand, said.

"As a growing, dynamic new age airline, Vietjet considers security, safety and airworthiness as top priorities, along with fleet and network expansion, service improvement, our trademark promotions, and of course, customer care," Nguyen Duc Tam, vice-president of Vietjet, said.
