Pfizer, Bach Mai Hospital sign collaboration deal


Pfizer Vietnam and Hà Nội’s Bach Mai Hospital signed a MOU for comprehensive cooperation to improve healthcare services and medical research capabilities at the hospital.

HÀ NỘI — Pfizer Vietnam and Hà Nội’s Bach Mai Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding on May 6 for comprehensive cooperation to improve healthcare services and medical research capabilities at the hospital.

It focuses on training in diagnosis, prevention and treatment to build healthcare professionals with high professional knowledge, strengthen connections and cooperation with domestic and foreign organisations and experts and carry out training and other activities for the benefit of patients and the community.

Assoc. Prof. Đào Xuân Cơ, director of Bạch Mai, said the hospital is a high-tech intensive and special-grade general hospital.

It provides top medical services, carries out research, epidemic prevention, international cooperation, healthcare economics management, and training activities, and organises workshops for lower-level hospitals.

“This collaboration will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities in providing high-quality healthcare services and advancing medical research, ultimately benefiting patients and the community.”

Darrell Oh, general director of Pfizer Vietnam, said: “By collaborating with Bạch Mai Hospital, we aim to leverage our expertise and resources to bring innovative solutions to patients and healthcare professionals.”
