Vietjet receives two more aircraft

Vietjet's newest aircraft landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vietjet's brand-new A321 aircraft arrived at HCM City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport on January 21 from Hamburg, Germany.

The aircraft, coded VN-A667, is the 12th of a landmark agreement between Vietjet and Airbus for acquiring and leasing 100 aircraft. With its advanced design that ensures lower fuel costs and CO2 emissions, the new aircraft is expected to boost the carrier's efficiency and protect the environment.

On the same day, Vietjet also received an A321, code LZ-PMZ, on lease at the airport.

"With this addition to its fleet, Vietjet now operates 32 new and modern A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline to further develop its network in Viet Nam and across the Asia-Pacific region," Luu Duc Khanh, Vietjet's managing director, said.

With its advanced design that ensures lower fuel costs and CO2 emissions, the new aircraft is expected to boost the carrier's efficiency and protect the environment. — VNS Photos

In order to welcome its newest members, Vietjet is operating 1,000 more flights that will provide 200,000 more tickets to passengers.

The airline has also launched new routes, connecting Vietnamese destinations and other countries, to meet the surging demand during the Tet holiday.
