Vietjet hounoured as VN’s 50 Best Performing Companies in 2018

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Co was recognised as one of Viet Nam’s 50 Best Performing Companies in 2018 during an award ceremony held in HCM City on Thursday.

The ranking, which is made annually by Nhip Cau Dau Tu (Investment Bridge) magazine and Thien Viet Securities JSC, aims to honour enterprises which are listed on Viet Nam’s stock market.

According to the results announced at the ceremony, Vietjet's compounded annual growth (CAGR) and return on equity (ROE) are 39.24 per cent and 59.7 per cent, respectively.

The company’s market capitalisation reached US$2.68 billion, making it the largest capitalised enterprise on the stock market.

This is the third year in a row since being listed on HCM City Stock Exchange, Vietjet has received the award especially for Vietnamese enterprises - the pride of Viet Nam in the international arena, the company said in a statement.

The company’s shares rose 2.8 per cent to VND128,000 per share on Friday. — VNS
