FPT Information System Company (FPT IS) will provide FPT.IDCheck, a chip-based citizen ID card authentication service using AI anti-counterfeiting technology, to VietCredit Finance JSC following an agreement signed recently.
In transactions that require authentication for chip-based citizen ID cards, the authentication process will be connected to citizen information in the national database system via FPT.IDCheck, helping to verify customer identities with absolute precision.
“In order to ensure information security and customer data safety, VietCredit has cooperated with FPT IS to deploy the FPT.IDCheck solution to prevent counterfeit authentication of chip-based citizen ID cards. The cooperation between the two parties will help VietCredit reduce risks, improve customer experience, and help protect customers with a multi-layer security system,” said a representative of VietCredit.
FPT.IDCheck can bring absolute safety for high-risk transactions such as consumer loan registration, money transfer, money withdrawal, registration for the issuance of digital certificates and signing electronic contracts.
The solution is a perfect combination between chip-based ID authentication service and AI anti-forgery authentication technology, and meets the international standard ISO-30107. It was researched and developed by FPT IS based on the Ministry of Public Security’s chip-based citizen ID card verification platform.
The solution helps comprehensively remove the risks of forgery in transactions, saves considerable personnel costs and transaction time, and increases the automation level and competitiveness of enterprises in many economic sectors.
