Soul Music & Performing Arts Academy will organise a programme for children called “A Creative Summer - A Soul Summer Arts Experience”.

Meant for children aged eight to 16, it will run from July 2 to 20 with each class consisting of 20 -25 children.

SMPAA said the programme would not only bring fun through music and performing arts, but also help enhance the children’s creativity and critical thinking and discover their hidden potential.

At the camp, the children will learn a variety of dances (hip-hop, modern jazz, dance fitness), music and instruments (drums, guitar, piano, etc) and get a chance to produce their music in a well-equipped recording studio, thus discovering their artistic and musical potential.

They will get to experience eight unique Orff instruments, which will offer them a rich experience related to a variety of patterns and materials, from the sounds of wood to metal and how they sound on instruments.

Through exercises under the guidance of qualified international teachers, the children will learn exciting lessons on expressing themselves and make new friends.

The interactive and dynamic environment with international experts and Vietnamese teaching assistants will also create opportunities for the attendees to improve their English skills.

Besides, the children will also be taken on excursions to see live performances by experienced local artists helping them gain more knowledge about the country’s culture. – VNS
