Subway chain opens another restaurant

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Subway, the American fast-food sandwich chain, will open its sixth store in Viet Nam today (Feb 26) at HCM City's Now Zone Shopping Complex in District 1.

The new store is in direct response to consumer demand for affordable, healthier choices offered by Subway, a company press release said.

On the occasion, Subway offers a "buy 1-get 1" promotion and entertainment activities, including a flash-mob to be held at the store.

Located on the fourth floor of the shopping mall, the store is expected to offer suitable spaces for meetings.

The Subway brand is the world's largest submarine sandwich chain with more than 44,000 locations around the world. There are 150 Subway stores in Singapore and 200 in Malaysia.

Other Subway stores in HCM City are located in District 1 at Pham Ngu Lao St, Ho Tung Mau St, Le Thanh Ton St; in Kumho Link shopping centre on Hai Ba Trung and Le Duan Boulevard; and in District 7 at RMIT University. — VNS
