Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited has announced the appointment of Kang Gew Won as CEO.
Kang joined the bank in Korea in 1995 and has held numerous top leadership roles during the course of his 16-year career.
Since starting to work in Viet Nam in 2011, he has been general manager of the Bac Ninh branch and deputy general director in charge of corporate banking.
He said: "Customer needs are constantly changing, and Shinhan Bank Vietnam should actively innovate to fulfil varied needs. In a challenging business environment like Viet Nam, flexible adaptation is important to create long-term value and success for the bank and customers." — VNS
