Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op) and Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint Stock Company on April 5 broke ground for a four-star hotel in Can Tho City’s Ninh Kieu District.
Located next to Sense City, the hotel, to be built on a 2,200sq.m plot of land, will have 19 floors and 165 guest rooms, two meeting rooms and two restaurants, and cost over VND370 billion (US$15.95 million).
The hotel will be managed and operated by Saigon – Can Tho Trading Co., Ltd. (a member of Saigon Co.op and SCID).
It will also serve as a modern and fully equipped venue for conferences and seminars.
The hotel is expected to be finished and opened in the first quarter of 2021. — VNS
