Rang Dong Lamp Joint Stock Company plans for 70 per cent of its revenues to come from high-tech products on the way to going digital.

Reporting on the firm's digital transformation strategy for 2020-2025 in Ha Noi on April 21, General Director Nguyen Doan Thang said in the initial digital transformation of 2020 and 2021, the programme helped the firm overcome difficulties from the pandemic, adding that revenue in 2020 grew by 15.6 per cent and 16 per cent in 2021.

In the period, the profit increased by more than 18.3 per cent, and equity increased 26.8 per cent, while payment to the state budget rose 23.2 per cent.

Thang said in the first quarter of 2022, the firm achieved a growth of 16.3 per cent in revenue and 16.6 per cent in profit.

He said the programme in 2022 and 2023 would be a pivotal period that decides the success of the company's digital transformation strategy.

Thang also announced the firm’s three high-tech product lines: the 2nd generation Rallismart Smart Home Solution, which won the "Vietnam Smart City 2020" Award; the Smart City Solution, smart lighting for streets and landscape architecture, which won the "Vietnam Smart City 2021" award; and the Smart Farm solution, an agricultural lighting solution for precision agriculture and renewable energy, which won the Sao Khue Award in 2021. — VNS
