HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Life insurance company Prudential Vietnam has signed a 15-year strategic partnership with Vietnam International Bank in HCM City yesterday.

The bank will now distribute a Prudential product range featuring financial protection, investment and accumulation solutions both via its branch network and online.

It will work with the insurer to develop integrated product and service packages to serve customers and increase their respective market shares.

Prudential is the leader in the Vietnamese life insurance market with a presence in all 63 cities and provinces and 270 customer service centres.

VIB with a chartered capital of VND4.25 trillion (US$188 million) has a network of almost 160 branches and transaction offices in 27 key cities and provinces.

It recently won the "Bank of the Year 2015" award from the UK's The Banker magazine. — VNS
