HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — More than 300 Vietnamese professionals met with 10 French companies specialising in bakery yesterday at the French Bakery and Pastry event held by Business France, in HCM City.

French companies, including Ekip, Eurogerm, Europain, Guyon, Jac and others, presented their know-how and latest technological innovations.

Viet Nam's bakery market is one of the most dynamic in Asia, according to the organiser. It has grown by 6 per cent in volume and 14 per cent in sales value this year.

Twelve French businesses on Tuesday launched a three-day programme titled "Bonjour, French Food!" promoting beef and apples in HCM City and Ha Noi.
