The internet has recently been full of images of people queuing up in long lines to participate in a programme to support Vietnamese goods.
This is considered a good phenomenon when Co.opmart supermarket’s activities to promote consumption of domestically made products receive enthusiastic support of diverse consumers across the country.
Instead of just offering big promotions at its supermarkets like it did in the past, this year Co.opmart supermarket chain has created a strong impression by organising a programme called Vietnamese goods trip - Spreading the love of Vietnamese goods all over the country.
It is the first Vietnamese retailer of fast moving consumer goods to apply a practical and lively promotion for Vietnamese goods, and it has succeeded in attracting a large number of consumers.
Most people line up in the most orderly manner, without jostling or coming back in the queue a second time to get a gift.

The programme has attracted not only youths, but also middle-aged people, workers, and children with some places also seeing foreigners join in. All of them smile happily when they get the gift in their hands.
The Vietnamese goods trip - Spreading the love of Vietnamese goods began from the southernmost province of Ca Mau, passed through Can Tho and HCM City, and is on its way to central and northern provinces and cities and Ha Noi before finishing in Thai Nguyen Province.
During the trans-Viet Nam journey, the organisers will hand out more than 20,000 gifts, all made-in-Viet Nam products, to local residents en route to spread happiness among them and at the same time promote Vietnamese goods. — VNS
