Vietjet’s newest international route, connecting Ha Noi with Yangon (Myanmar) will be operational on Thursday, the airline said at a ceremony on Saturday.
The event in Yangon was attended by Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and high-ranking dignitaries from Viet Nam and Myanmar.
The route is the second by Vietjet to connecting Viet Nam and Myanmar after the HCM City-Yangon route.
“Thanks to their cultural similarities, Viet Nam and Myanmar are new destinations for investment and robust economic development. With its convenient flying time and affordable fares, the route is expected to meet the travel demand and to offer the two countries’ people and international tourists more choices for their travel plans,” Vietjet said.
