La Vie Co., Ltd. has launched natural mineral water in glass bottles and invested in resources to ensure empty bottles are collected and completely recycled to minimise the impact on the environment.
La Vie Glass, carbonated and non-carbonated, comes in Italian-designed bottles and is targeted at luxury hotels and restaurants.
To recycle the empty bottles, it would invest more in resources because collecting and transporting glass bottles is expensive and requires manpower, the company said.
In some tourist cities, local authorities are starting to encourage the public and businesses, especially in the hospitality industry, to use glass bottles and other environment-friendly materials. — VNS
