HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnamese Satellite Digital Television Company Limited K+ will restructure its three channel packages and set the same price for subscribers registering effective from March 8.
The three channel packages will be restructured into two packages, Access+ and PremiumHD+. Nine channels with be added to Access+, such as HBO, Star Movies, Star Sports, Discovery, and Fashion TV. Channel K+PC will not feature in this package.
PremiumHD+ will include 74 channels from the Premium+ package and 84 channels from the HD+ package, with 10 high-definition channels.
Access+ will be available at a price of VND85,000 (over $4) per month and PremiumHD+ will be available at VND220,000 ($10.4) per month. The subscribers can avail these services for a period of three months, six months, and 12 months.
Besides this, K+ will also reduce the cost of standard definition (SD) equipment from VND1.5 million ($71.4) to VND990,000 ($47.1) per set and high-definition (HD) equipment from VND2 million ($95.2) to VND1.8 million ($85.7) per set.
K+ General Director Cao Van Liet informed the Dau Tu (Investment) newspaper that the change will simplify selection of services for customers and will meet their entertainment demands. — VNS
