InterContinental Hanoi Westlake has opened its new Penfolds Lounge, featuring the versatile palette of Penfolds Wines and tailor made menus crafted by the hotel’s executive chef.

Penfolds has played a crucial role in Australia’s evolution in winemaking and has figured prominently in the identity of Australian wines.

"The Penfolds Lounge is perfect for an intimate bespoke dinner for up to 20 customers. The area can be secured for an exclusive standing cocktail event for up to 100 customers, which spills out on to our magnificent Terrace," InterContinental Hanoi Westlake said in a statement.

Penfolds Wines roots in Australia go deep, having been growing since 1844, when Christopher and Mary Penfold built a cottage just 8km outside the city of Adelaide, Magill Estate, said Colin McCandless, general manager of InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. — VNS
