French multinational hotel group AccorHotels has opened the ibis Saigon Airport in HCM City, designed for business and leisure travellers.

Located in the dynamic hub of the city, just five minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the hotel is a haven that promises modernity, comfort and service at an affordable price.

The 282-room ibis Saigon Airport offers accommodation options to suit every need, including 65 studios and one and two bedroom service apartments for long-stay guests, complete with fully-equipped kitchenettes. Designed with stylish travel-themed interiors, the soundproofed rooms are furnished with the signature ‘Sweet BedTM by ibis’ and black-out curtains for a blissful night’s rest.

The opening of ibis Saigon Airport aligns with the growing interest in Viet Nam, with the country welcoming a record 10 million international guests in 2016.

Patrick Basset, chief operating officer of AccorHotels Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia, said: “ibis Saigon Airport is well positioned, given its location and dynamic offerings, for the anticipated continued economic and tourism growth in Viet Nam.”

The opening marks the second ibis hotel in Viet Nam and will be followed by 12 AccorHotels properties that will open across the country within the next two years, bringing the group’s total portfolio in the country to 36. – VNS
