FedEx Cares Week aims to improve quality of life

HCM CITY (Biz Hub)— More than 1,000 Asia-Pacific FedEx volunteers will take part in the international Cares Week to improve the quality of life of local residents, including those in Viet Nam.

In the Cares Week launch scheduled for this Saturday, the volunteers will carry out 36 projects, including cleaning up parks and coastlines; preparing and distributing meals for disadvantaged people; and providing healthcare to children with disabilities.

The FedEx Cares Week was launched in the US in 2005 and has expanded to more than 40 countries and territories.
