HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Leading retailer Saigon Co-op has begun work on a new Co.opmart supermarket outlet in Tien Giang Province.
The 8,000sq.m store on Tran Cong Tuong Street in Go Cong town will cost VND70 billion (US$3.12 million) and sell more than 30,000 items, 90 per cent of them Vietnamese high-quality products.
Scheduled to open in August next year, Co.opmart Go Cong supermarket will also sell price-stabilised goods and act as a conduit for the province's specialties and other products to enter the Co.opmart chain. — VNS
