HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — More than 100 architects, interior designers, developers, and modular kitchen makers discussed the latest innovations in modern kitchen design at a conference in HCM City on Wednesday.

Organised by modular kitchen maker Hafele Viet Nam and the first of its kind held in Viet Nam, the meeting was held in the context of Vietnamese consumers becoming more international in their tastes and preferences as reflected by their expectations of their kitchen.

Delegates said though space was often at a premium in Vietnamese houses, the demands on kitchens were becoming greater, with people using more utilities, appliances, and ingredients than ever before.

Experts from Hafele, Blum, Kessebohmer, Loox, and Gaggenau shared the history of kitchens all over the world and new innovative products that offered convenience in the kitchen.

"The needs of the modern homeowner are changing and our solutions have been created not only to keep up with this, but to actually set the standard in terms of customers' expectations," Dominik Fruth, general director of Hafele Viet Nam, said.

Hafele introduced its complete solution, which offers a detailed guide from planning to installation with support from Hafele's partners. — VNS
