Coca-Cola Beverages Vietnam Limited (Coca-Cola Vietnam) has recently collaborated with the People's Committee of Duyên Thái Commune, Thường Tín District, Hà Nội, to organise a training conference on e-commerce skills for local handicraft enterprises.

The programme is in line with the company’s commitment to community development and economic growth, providing a fitting backdrop for the training and knowledge exchange.

The event saw the appearance of esteemed guests and participants, including more than 100 representatives of local handicraft production and trading businesses, who engaged actively in the training sessions, eager to acquire e-commerce skills to boost their businesses in the digital era.

The primary objective of this training conference was to bridge the digital divide and enable local handicraft enterprises to leverage the power of e-commerce to expand their businesses.

By providing them with practical insights, strategies, and tools, Coca-Cola Vietnam aims to empower these enterprises to effectively navigate the digital landscape and thrive in the ever-evolving online marketplace.

Bùi Khánh Nguyên, public affairs, communications and sustainability vice president at Coca-Cola Beverages Vietnam, said: “this initiative highlights the positive impact that can be achieved when businesses, local authorities, and the community come together... This collaborative spirit is a testament to the collective strength we can achieve when working hand in hand for the betterment of our communities."

Duyên Thái Commune in Thường Tín District, located in the outskirts of Hà Nội, boasts a rich cultural heritage deeply rooted in traditional craft villages.

For generations, local artisans have been crafting exquisite products, from ceramics and textiles to woodwork and more.

The district's craft village products are renowned for their artistry, quality, and historical significance. These traditional craft villages have played a pivotal role in the local economy and have been an essential part of the cultural identity of Thường Tín District.

However, in recent years, these businesses have faced the challenge of adapting to the digital age. Many have struggled to connect with a broader customer base and take advantage of the benefits offered by e-commerce. — VNS
