Biti’s, Việt Nam’s leading footwear brand, kicked off its Biti's Happy Kids project with the launch of the Biti's Happiness Station and a book titled "Happy Children" in HCM City on October 28.

The Biti's Happy Kids community project, targeting children aged three to 10, conveys Biti's wish to bring lasting happiness to millions of Vietnamese families, especially children.

It is based on the philosophy of happiness advised by Professor. Dr. Hà Vĩnh Thọ, former programme director of the Gross National Happiness Centre in Bhutan. The project directs each child to three connections: to themselves, to others and to nature. Parents and children will have the opportunity to directly experience intuitive, hands-on activities through the three connections with three compatible spaces for each.

The project is a continuance of the journey of sowing seeds of happiness that the brand has strived for many years.

Vưu Lệ Quyên, CEO of Biti's, said the company hopes that the Biti's Happiness Station will be a place to help parents observe their children more clearly to see if the “happiness” they always want to bring to their children is what their children really need. From there, parents can draw from their own experiences to create a "happy childhood" for their children.

The book "Happy Children" by Thọ was also officially launched. The book takes readers through a child's developmental journey, from childhood, school and the teenage years.

Understanding children is the foundation for parents to be able to give their children a happy childhood, Thọ said. — VNS
