Central Retail Việt Nam secured the top spot in the Top 10 Reputable Companies in the Retail industry in 2023 for the third consecutive year.

This section is part of Vietnam Report JSC's 500 most profitable companies (PROFIT500) and Top 10 reputable firms and the food-beverage-retail-packaging sector.

Olivier Langlet, Group CEO of Central Retail Việt Nam, said that Central Retail was dedicated to growing its investments and supporting community initiatives. This award motivated their team to enhance the quality of life in Việt Nam.

“Central Retail would like to express our gratitude to consumers who have always supported, trusted, and chosen to use our services every day,” he said.

According to the organisation committee, one of the most important factors determining Central Retail's leading position is the financial capacity shown in the most recent year's financial report.

According to Central Retail Corporation (Thailand), by 2022, Central Retail Việt Nam achieved sales contributing 24 per cent of Central Retail's total revenue, becoming the largest international retailer in Việt Nam, leading market share in the hypermarket segment.

This year, Central Retail continues its strong expansion plan, sequentially unveiling three mini go! outlets; introducing the innovative Come Home brand, offering home furnishing solutions tailored for the Vietnamese market; and groundbreaking the GO! Mall project in Hà Nam.

As of the end of June, Central Retail operates 77 food retail stores, including 38 GO! and 39 supermarkets under the brands Tops Market Mini Go! and LanChi Mart.

Acknowledging Việt Nam's important market, Central Retail announced an investment worth US$1.45 billion for the next five years from 2023 to 2027 and to double the number of stores to 600, across 57 out of 63 provinces and cities. — VNS
