Bamboo Capital Group JSC has announced the resignation of Nguyễn Thế Tài from the position of CEO and the appointment of Nguyễn Tùng Lâm as the new CEO of the company.
Lâm has a long-standing association with Bamboo Capital. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Lâm was a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO at Bamboo Capital Group.
At BCG Land, a subsidiary of Bamboo Capital, Lâm currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. He also holds the role of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at AAA Insurance Group, another member company of Bamboo Capital.
Lâm graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Foreign Trade University in Hà Nội and completed a Master's degree in Finance from Bentley University in the US, according to the information released by Bamboo Capital.
With over 10 years of experience in the finance and banking industry, Lâm has held senior executive positions in commercial joint-stock companies and banks.
Bamboo Capital's CEO change coincides with the company's ambitious growth plans. It sets targets of over VNĐ6.1 trillion in net revenue this year, up 151 per cent year-on-year and VNĐ952 billion in profit after tax, 5.5 times higher than the previous year, according to its annual general meeting documents.
Nguyễn Thế Tài, who has recently resigned as the CEO of Bamboo Capital, is a founding member and has been the consistent CEO of Bamboo Capital since its inception.
He has been instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of digital transformation and technology integration into Bamboo Capital's workflow from an early stage. — VNS
