Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will open direct flights from Hà Nội and HCM City to Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, starting from June 17.
There will be a total of three flights a week departing from Hà Nội on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; along with four flights a week departing from HCM City on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
This new route is significant for Vietnam Airlines as it marks the first time the airline is offering flights to the capital city of the Philippines.
It plays an important role in Việt Nam national airlines' international flight network development strategy, as it connects Manila with Hà Nội and HCM City, which are both major economic centres in Southeast Asia. — VNS
