Bamboo Airways plans to gradually increase the frequency of regular international flights from the beginning of 2022, after receiving permission from the Government.

In the first stage, the carrier will conduct one round-trip flight per week each on the Ha Noi – Narita (Japan), Ha Noi - Taipei (China’s Taiwan) and Ha Noi – Seoul (the Republic of Korea) routes.

In the second stage, when conditions allow, Bamboo Airways will operate a direct flight to Hong Kong (China) with an expected frequency of seven round trips per week, on the Ha Noi/HCM City - Hong Kong routes. In addition, flights to Germany will be also resumed, with an expected frequency of two round-trip flights per week on the Ha Noi/HCM City – Frankfurt routes, and one on Ha Noi/ HCM City – Munich routes.

During this period, Bamboo Airways will also operate flights to Australia with an expected frequency of two round-trip flights a week on the HCM City - Melbourne route, which can be increased to four per week depending on market demand.

The carrier is also ready to expand direct flights to Japan, the UK and the US when conditions permit.

Dang Tat Thang, Bamboo Airways General Director, said that the carrier aims to expand its network of international direct routes to 40 in 2022, thus meeting the increasing travel demand of both domestic and foreign customers. — VNS
