HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – The Archetype Group, a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, has acquired the Asia-Pacific operations of Tebodin, a consultancy and engineering company with offices across South East Asia. The agreement was signed on March 4.
Archetype provides architectural and engineering services, project and construction management and cost management to the construction and real estate market in addition to large industrial projects.
Tebodin specialises in engineering and EPCm services and has a strong focus in industrial market segments.
The acquisition will strengthen Archetype's Industrial division and provide a complementary extension to the company's activities in Building & Real Estate and Environment & Infrastructure.
"With the acquisition of Tebodin, we are reinforcing our expertise and market presence in Việt Nam, Thailand, India, Myanmar and Indonesia. This allows us to extend our reach to China, which is in line with our development strategy," said Pierre-Jean Malgouyres, general director of Archetype Group, based in HCM City.
Both companies together will represent a force of over 1,100 employees and are expected to generate an annual turnover of US$40 million. — VNS
