VINH PHUC (Biz Hub) — The five-star FLC Vinh Thinh Resort in northern Vinh Phuc Province's Vinh Tuong District was officially inaugurated on Sunday, becoming the city's biggest luxury resort so far.

The FLC Group, the project investor, also started the resort's phase two construction, covering 250ha, with a total investment of VND4.6 trillion (US$ 286.4 million).

Phase two will see the construction of a golf institute, a five-star hotel, villas and high-end entertainment services.

Located in an area with tourism potential and a one-hour drive from Hanoi, the resort offers 7ha of a lake, trees, bungalows and restaurants, besides swimming pools, a golf course, tennis courses and helicopter pad on its rooftop.

It will have a conference room system, making it an ideal destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).

Speaking at the ceremony, Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, the province's chairwoman of People's Committee said the new FLC Vinh Thinh Resort has been only a short one-hour drive from Ha Noi by taking a route via National Highway 2A, 2C, and the Ha Noi-Lao Cai railway.

"The resort is a tremendous boon to the local economy, generating thousands of jobs, helping people lift themselves and their families out of poverty and into the middle class," she said.
