HA NOI (Biz Hub) — More than 450 contracts and MoUs, worth VND380.6 billion (US$17 million) were signed at the 2015 International Technology and Equipment Market of Vietnam (Techmart 2015).
The mart's management board announced the information in a report on October 4.
The four-day event, which opened on October 1, attracted 750 organisations and businesses.
Much co-operation was established, many research results were transferred and many scientists found new markets for their technology, reported the management board.
During the event, scientists also collected feedback from customers, especially enterprises, to adjust their researching to be conformable with market demand, said Le Xuan Dinh, director of the National Agency for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
About ten seminars, forums and meetings took place during the Techmart 2015 to discuss science and technology for new rural development; security technology and devices and system security solutions.
The mart was co-organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology and the people's committees of Ha Noi and HCM City. — VNS
