| VinaPhone, the third largest Vietnamese mobile operator and Apple's official distributor, announces prices for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with its postpaid and prepaid packages. HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Official distributors of Apple products in Viet Nam have publicised the prices of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which will go on sale nationwide beginning November 14.
Viettel, the largest Vietnamese mobile operator, is offering each locked iPhone 6 with 16GB storage capacity at VND16,499,000 (US$785); with 64GB, VND19,099,000 ($910); and with 128GB, VND21,699,000 ($1,033).
The company is also offering each locked iPhone 6 Plus with 16GB storage capacity at VND19,099,000 ($910); with 64GB, VND21,699,000 ($1,033); and with 128GB, VND24,299,000 ($1,156). It will charge a VND700,000 unlocking fee per mobile phone if the customer prefers to unlock the phone.
VinaPhone, the third largest Vietnamese mobile network, is offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage capacities and in gold, silver and gray colours, along with promotional packages for calls, SMS and data.
It is offering each iPhone 6 in a postpaid package with 16GB at VND16,099,000 ($765); with 64GB, VND18,699,000 ($890); and with 128GB, VND21,099,000 ($1,005). Customers buying the iPhone in prepaid packages will be charged higher, at VND16,799,000 ($780) for each phone with 16GB; VND19,399,000 ($923) for each phone with 64GB; and VND21,999,000 ($1,047) for each phone with 128GB.
VinaPhone is also offering each iPhone 6 Plus in a postpaid package from VND18,699,000 to VND23,499,000 ($1,120), and those in a prepaid package, from VND19,399,000 to VND24,599,000 ($1,171), depending on storage capacity.
FPT, one of three Apple distributors in Viet Nam, has not officially revealed its prices. However, on its website, the distributor is offering each iPhone 6 with 16GB storage capacity at VND17,990,000 ($856) and each iPhone 6 Plus with 16GB storage capacity at VND20,490,000 ($975).
Prices of iPhones from abroad that are offered at unofficial distributors'outlets are still higher than those at official distributors' outlets.
For example, Hoang Ha Mobile is offering each iPhone 6 with 16GB storage capacity at VND17,190,000 ($818); with 64GB, VND19,990,000 ($950); and with 128GB, VND21,900,000 ($1,042).
It is also offering each iPhone 6 Plus with 16GB at VND19,990,000; with 64GB, VND22,990,000 ($1,094); and with 128GB, VND25,990,000 ($1,237).
Also, Nhat Cuong Mobile is offering each iPhone 6 with 16GB storage capacity at VND16,790,000 ($780); with 64GB, VND19,990,000; and with 128GB, VND21,490,000 ($1,023).
