GIA LAI (Biz Hub)— The Gia Lai Sugar-Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (SEC) approved a plan to borrow VND350 billion (US$16.6 million).

The loan, to be sourced from Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank in Gia Lai Province, will help SEC raise the capacity of the Ayunpa sugar plant from 3,200 tonnes of sugar cane to 6,000 tonnes .

The mortgaged property for the loan will consist of the plant assets and production lines. — VNS
