HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Long Duc Industrial Zone (IZ), backed by VND1.1 trillion (US$52.3 million) of investment, was inaugurated in the southern province of Dong Nai on Monday.

Spanning a total area of ​​282,80 hectares, the IZ is a joint venture between three Japanese groups - Sojitz Corporation, Daiwa House Industry and Kobelco Eco-Solution - plus Dong Nai's Donafoods Company.

Designed to serve various industries including mechanical, electronics, quality materials, pharmaceuticals, stationery, packaging and interior decoration, the IZ has already attracted 15 Japanese projects with total investment of around $617 million.

The IZ benefits from a prime location near the planning site of Long Thanh International Airport, HCM City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Highway and Cai Mep - Thi Vai Deep-water Port. — VNS
