HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Saigon Co.op, owner of the Co.opmart supermarket chain, opened a new outlet in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta Province of Kien Giang last Saturday.
With the latest addition, the chain has 64th outlets nation-wide.
The second outlet in the province, called Co.opmart Kien Giang 2, has a total area of more than 5,500 square meters and an investment of over VND90 billion (US$4.26 million). Located in Rach Gia City, the outlet sells more than 30,000 items ranging from foods and household utensils to cosmetics.
It also provides price-stabilised goods for local residents and neighbouring provinces.
To mark its opening, Co.opmart Kien Giang 2 is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of products until November 11. — VNS
