Multi-sector exhibitions open in HCM City

A seiries of exhibitions under the theme "Viet Nam - Integration and Sustainable Development" opened on Wednesday. — VNS photo Xuan Huong.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – A series of international exhibitions under the theme "Viet Nam - Integration and Sustainable Development" opened on Wednesday at HCM City's Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre.

These exhibitions are Glasstech Viet Nam, Window and Doors Viet Nam, Lighting Viet Nam, Vinamac, Vinachem, Chinachem and Vinacoating.

Covering a total of 5,000sq.m and 215 booths, the exhibitions have attracted a total of 180 firms from 10 countries and territories, including China, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Viet Nam, said Nguyen Van Ngan, general director of the Viet Nam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition Joint Stock Company.

Among the exhibitions, Glasstech Viet Nam and Window and Doors Viet Nam, the first of their kind held in the city, is displaying machinery and equipment for the glass industry, and a wide range of glass products, windows, doors and accessories.

Other exhibitions, Vinamac, Vinachem, Chinachem,Vinacoatings and Lighting Viet Nam, are being held at the same venue. They focus on industrial machinery, equipment, chemicals, coating, steel, metalworking and lighting industry.

Several conferences, seminars and business meetings will be held alongside the four-day event.

Co-organised by Vietfair and other international organisations, these events, which will run until December 7, will offer a good chance for Vietnamese manufacturers and foreign companies looking for new business opportunities, technology exchange, quality improvement and increased competitiveness. — VNS
