HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — More than 50 leading business executives in HCM City and neighbouring provinces learned how to maximise sales at a business luncheon organised by EuroCham in HCM City on Tuesday.

Deiric McCann, executive vice president of Profiles International, the global employee assessment solutions provider, said it was not unusual if a sales team had only a small percentage of top performers, a small percentage of people who were poor performers and a middle group that made up the majority.

The top performers sell 32 per cent more than the average performers, who in turn produce 32 per cent more than bottom performers, he said.

Sales team managers should strive to raise the bottom-level performers to an average level and the average performers to a top performance level, he said.

Hiring the right people for the job is necessary, and employers should consider mental capability, personality and interest.

The event was sponsored by Profiles International South East Asia. – VNS
