HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― South Korea's HNT Electronics Company will develop a VND420 billion (US$20 million) plant to produce cameras for mobile phones in northern Hoa Binh Province's Luong Son Industrial Zone.
The company received an investment certificate after it signed an agreement with the provincial People's Committee on February 20.
The facility is slated to become operational in November and will produce 120 million cameras per year. It will also create jobs for about 600 workers and generate VND11 billion ($523,800) per year for the state budget.
The industrial zone is expected to welcome four more investors this year, according to local authorities. ― VNS
