HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Dai-ichi Life Insurance in Viet Nam has announced strong sales results in the first nine months of 2014, with new business premiums reaching over VND640 billion (US$30.4 million), an increase of 33 per cent against the same period last year.
Total premium income reached nearly VND1.7 trillion ($80.5 million), an increase of 36 per cent over the same period in 2013. Preliminary profits in the first three quarters was estimated at VND160 billion ($7.6 million), according to the company. — VNS
