HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — "Viet Nam's market presents endless business opportunities for foreign entrepreneurs, investors and local businesses to build a strong manufacturing base for the mass production of automotive parts and motorcycle parts," Atipol Chutisereeporn, general manager of Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said.
"Therefore, we took part in Metalex Vietnam to closely observe the market, trends and behaviours."
Four exhibitions - "Business Alliance for Supporting Industry 2015", "METALEX Vietnam 2015" "Electronics Assembly 2015", and "Industrial Components & Subcontracting Vietnam 2015" – were successfully organised simultaneously, attracting 13,777 visitors and 267 groups from Viet Nam and 33 countries and territories, including Australia, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the US.
Held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 8 to 10, the event saw thousands of manufacturers engaging in face-to-face business connections and discovering extensive networking opportunities.
According to exhibitors, Metalex Vietnam 2015 was an efficient platform for investors and foreigner manufacturers to meet the right local customers and expand their business to Viet Nam, a great chance for local manufacturers to generate sales leads and gain new ground to be able to serve the demands of international customers.
Nguyen Quang Ha, deputy manager of HCM City-based Amada-Hason Technology and Trading Co., Ltd, said "I believe that the Viet Nam market will develop stronger, especially the metal processing sector since the market demands quality.
"Therefore, it is important for manufacturers to gain efficiency and competitive abilities by upgrading technologies that sharpen the competitive edge through productivity and lower production costs."
Next year METALEX Vietnam, Vietnam's international exhibition on machine tools and metalworking solutions for upgrading production, will be held in HCM City from October 6 to 8 with more and more modern technologies and rich content together with NEPCON Vietnam 2016. — VNS
