HA NOI (BizHub) — Shares finished higher this morning in HCM City, but lower in Ha Noi.
The VN-Index on the HCM City Exchange rose 0.45 per cent to 512.4 points, as more than 64.1 million shares changed hands, with a total value of VND933.22 billion (US$44.43 million).
Meanwhile, the VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's top shares by capitalisation and liquidity, advanced 0.62 per cent to 573.62 points.
Bluechips were mixed with twelve stocks increasing, while eleven lost value.
Also, Masan Group (MSN) increased 5,500 ($0.26) per share to the ceiling price of VND87,000 ($4.1) this morning.
On the Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index lost 0.23 per cent to 65.94 points, while the HNXFF-Index, composed of stocks with a minimum free float rate of 5 per cent, dropped 0.32 per cent to 65.96 points.
With 24 million shares traded, total value reached VND212.27 billion ($1.01 million).
The HNX-30 Index, however, gained 0.14 per cent to 125.12 points. — VNS
