Shares fall this morning

Total trading value reached VND809.5 billion ($38.54 million) on the exchange of 59.9 million shares.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares lost on both national stock exchanges this morning.

On the HCM City Exchange, the VN-Index slid 0.07 per cent to 510.54 points, while the VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's top shares by capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.09 per cent to move up to 571.42 points.

Total trading value reached VND809.5 billion ($38.54 million) on the exchange of 59.9 million shares.

Also, ten blue chips added value after the morning session, in comparison to nine that lost value.

Of note, Gemardept (GMD) logistics company rose 4.9 per cent to VND33,800 ($1.6) per share.

Losers included Bao Viet (BVH), Vietcombank (VCB) and FPT Group (FPT).

On the northern bourse, the HNX-Index fell 0.04 per cent to 66.1 points, while the HNXFF-Index, comprised of stocks with a minimum free-float rate of 5 per cent, was 0.02 per cent higher at 66.2 points.

With 26.9 million shares traded, the total value reached VND192 billion ($9.14 million).

The HNX30-Index lost 0.16 per cent to 125.51 points. — VNS
