HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets had a mixed day on July 24.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost 249.78 points to close at 25,149.07, while in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 fell 122.1 points to end at 20,561.85.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 51.72 points to close at 4,175.64, but Singapore's Straits Times Index lost 3.72 points to end at 3,352.65.
The two bourses in Viet Nam had a mixed day. The VN Index lost 0.75 points to close at 631.26, but the HNX Index added 0.24 points to close at 86.32.— VNS
