HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on July 21.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index gained 131.52 points to close at 25,536.43, while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 26.56 points to close at 4,017.67.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 added 191.05 points to end at 20,841.97, but Singapore's Straits Times Index slipped 1.31 points to end at 3,372.17.
The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended lower. The VN Index lost 3.93 points to close at 616.61, while the HNX Index slipped 1.01 points to close at 84.92.— VNS
