HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended on a mixed note on July 22.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index dropped 253.81 points to close at 25,282.62. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 248.3 points to end at 20,593.67, and Singapore's Straits Times Index slipped 12.78 points to end at 3,358.63.
But in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 8.37 points to close at 4,026.04. The two bourses in Viet Nam also ended higher. The VN Index added 13.24 points to close at 629.85, while the HNX Index gained 2.08 points to close at 87.00.— VNS
