HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Most Asian markets ended higher on July 23.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index added 116.23 points to close at 25,398.85. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 gained 90.28 points to end at 20,683.95.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 97.88 points to close at 4,123.92, but the Singapore's Straits Times Index slipped 2.80 points to end at 3,356.37.
The two bourses in Viet Nam had a mixed day. The VN Index added 2.16 points to close at 632.01, but the HNX Index slipped 0.93 points to close at 86.07.— VNS
