HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian shares ended higher across the board on Wednesday, with markets showing concerted growth. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index lost 0.101 points to close at 61.49, but the VN Index in HCM City added 3.31 points to finish at 491.85.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) jumped 3.74 points to reach 1,993.80, however, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) lost 70.30 points to close at 21,883.66. The Straits Times Index (STI) lost 23.52 points to end at 3,221.9.
Japanese investors faced losses when the Nikkei 225 (NKY) declined to 201.50, ending at 13,668.32 and the Topix Index (TPX) lost 16.83 points to close at 1,131.70. — VNS
