HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Asian shares ended higher across the board on Tuesday, with markets showing concerted growth. In Ha Noi, the HNX Index gained 0.81 points to close at 61.59, while the VN Index in HCM City added 2.85 points to finish on 488.54.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) jumped 13.76 points to reach 1,990.06, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) added 113.81 points to climb to 1,953.96. The Straits Times Index (STI) edged up 7.33 points to 3,244.3.
Investors in Japan also had a good day, with the Nikkei 225 (NKY) climbing 208.69 to end at 1468.85 and the Topix Index (TPX) adding 20.08 points to close at 1,148.53. — VNS
