HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian markets ended with mixed results on April 29, while the two bourses in Viet Nam were closed for the local holiday.
The Nikkei 225 added 75.36 points to reach 20,058.95, while the Topix Index added 8.36 points to end at 1,627.43 in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, the Hang Seng Index lost 42.41 points to close at 28,400.34 in Hong Kong and the Shanghai Composite Index added 0.41 points to close at 4,476.62 in mainland China.
The Strait Times Index slipped 7.94 points to end at 3,487.15 in Singapore.
The VN Index and HNX Index remained unchanged from their Monday close of 562.40 and 82.75 in Viet Nam. — VNS
